The Business Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for tier 3 support and business analysis services for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Applications and coordinating support from our internal resources, package vendors and consultants. 

They are responsible for providing tier 3 support for all employees and mentoring tier 2 support on technical issues and business operations, identifying and documenting solutions, contributing to the development of applicable process and procedure documentation, incident root cause analysis, training, and quality assurance testing. 

The Business Systems Analyst provides expertise and direction on how best to use information technology to meet business objectives, gather business requirements, work with developers and partners to estimate and deliver changes to system functionality, develop and contribute to process and procedure documentation, problem root cause analysis, reporting and analysis, and utilizing system capabilities in an effective manner.  

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 5 or more years of customer service and systems analysis experience in an analyst role or equivalent 
  • Demonstrated ability of ITIL Procedures, including Incident, Problem and Change Management 
  • Demonstrated ability of client/customer support in a medium to large business 
  • Broad based business skills and acumen 
  • Sound understanding of business concepts and processes together with technical systems experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate, propose, negotiate, document and present approaches and solutions 
  • Experience with a variety of techniques for gathering and documenting requirements such as, process maps, use cases, system flow diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams 
  • Experience with finance, work management, inventory, order to cash and customer relationship processes 
  • Experience with ERP technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics, JDE or SAP
