Inside Sales - Equipment Parts

This is a full-time, permanent position.

We are a leading supplier to the construction industry in Atlantic Canada. We are a locally owned and operated company, established in 2001.  We provide equipment sales, parts, and service for a variety of equipment. Our success has been built on the exceptional product lines we represent, long-standing relationships with customers, and an effective and dedicated team.

Our new Inside Sales Person will join our current Parts team initially, but with training will develop into support customers for the following lines:

• Wacker Neuson
• Bandit Chippers
• MacLean Engineering – Municipal Division

Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional customer service when taking orders, and looking up parts.
• Interacting with suppliers effectively; placing and tracking urgent orders, updating pricing.
• Entering sales orders and quotes, filling POs, creating part numbers
• Working with a variety of communication platforms: online portals, excel, server library, text messages, emails, phone calls
• Navigating inventory systems and helping with period cycle counts and inventory management
• Greeting and assisting front counter customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Learning from and assisting co-workers (Parts and Service) on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:

• Customer service and/or Sales Experience
• Previous experience in a Parts Dept for construction, forestry, agriculture, or industrial supply an asset
• Professional communication skills, both interpersonal and digital.
• Experience with Microsoft products and proficient in keyboarding.
• Valid Class 05 Driver’s license
