Seeking Social Media / Content/ Advertising Manager

We are a leading local Pool and Hot Tub company in Markham searching for a full-time creative & talented Social Media Manager, Content Creator and Advertising Manager all-in-one to represent our company by building our social media, our online presence, and our overall brand awareness.

 The Social Media Manager will be required to:

  • Create high quality content for sharing online.
  • Engage in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • Create and run advertising campaigns.
  • Engage Influences
  • Interact with potential clients and respond to all comments on all platforms.
  • Keep records and share technical documents, usernames, and passwords with management.
  • Analyzing data to determine whether social media and advertising campaigns have
    achieved their objectives.
  • Monitor the company's brand on social media.
  • Market specials and promotions to our followers and beyond.
  • Ensure all initiatives are leading to engagement and sales.
  • Coach employees’ company-wide on content creation best practices.

Requirements:

  • Content writing
  • Social Media Marketing experience.
  • Google ad words knowledge
  • Knowledge / experience developing social media strategies.
  • Knowledge / Experience working with and developing a marketing plan.
  • Ability to build social media communities.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Ability to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Flexible schedule ability to work weekends in the busy season
  • Drivers license

 

Location
This is an in office/store position located at our head office and flagship store in Markham located near Hwy 7 / McCowan Rd.

Seaway Pools & Hot Tubs was founded in 1982 by Gary & Janette Walters in Markham Ontario. Gary, an original employee of Jacuzzi® Canada participated in the development of the first hot tubs and pool equipment in Ontario and is considered a pioneer by his peers in the swimming pool and hot tub industry. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to venture out on his own. Seaway Pools & Hot Tub's Markham store was successfully operated by Gary and his family for many years. In 2002 our second retail store location was opened in Newmarket Ontario.

Today, the second generation oversees and operates the two retail stores and construction teams. Our President, Craig Walters strives to maintain the level of quality, service and best construction practices his father has upheld for over 39 years.
